US Tourist Visa Documents/ Process From Bangladesh

Application Items For US Tourist Visa Documents

When you apply for a business or tourist visa, you must send in the following:

  • Electronic Application Form for a Nonimmigrant Visa (DS-160). Go to the DS-160 website to find out more about it.
  • A passport with at least six months remaining after your planned stay in the US. Each person who wants a visa on your passport must apply and have a valid passport.
  • One (1) recent 2″x2″ (5cmx5cm) photograph. This website explains how the photo needs to format.
  • A receipt for the US$160 local currency nonimmigrant visa application processing fee. This fee is nonrefundable. On this website, you can find out more about how to pay this fee. How to Apply For Visa

Step 1

Fill out the Electronic Application for a Nonimmigrant Visa (DS-160).

Step 2

You must pay the fee for getting a visa.

Documents to Back Up Applicants Who Want Medical Care

If you want U.S. medical care, you must show the following documents. Along with the ones above and any others the consular officer requests:

  • A medical diagnosis from a doctor in your country that says what’s wrong with you and why you need to treat in the U.S.
  • A letter from a US doctor or medical facility stating they will treat this illness and how long. Doctor’s fees, hospitalization fees, and other medical costs.
  • A financial responsibility statement from your transportation, medical, and living providers. People who promise to pay for these costs must show proof that they can do so. Bank statements, certified income tax returns, or other income or savings proof used.

Electronic Visa Update System (EVUS)

Starting November 29, 2016, Chinese citizens with 10-year PRC passport B1, B2, or B1/B2 visas. They must update their visa application biographical and other information.
